YAP KEK SIUNG

Project Director
Yap Kek Siung serves as both the Executive Director of Taghill Projects Sdn Bhd and the Project Director for Taghill Group. In these roles, he oversees all aspects of project management for building construction works, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and uncompromising quality standards. Yap holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management (Honours) from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom.

Yap began his career in 1998 as a Site Manager with Khinhup Construction. In 2004, he joined Gainvest Builders (M) Sdn Bhd, where he advanced from Site Manager to Project Manager in 2007, solidifying his skills in project execution and management.

Since joining Taghill Projects Sdn Bhd in year 2014 as both a director and shareholder, Yap has accumulated over 20 years of expertise in project planning, management, and construction oversight. His extensive experience spans a wide range of construction projects, including factories, commercial buildings, workshops, service centers, and high-rise service apartments

KOO SEONG HOE

Chief Financial Officer
Koo Seong Hoe is the current Chief Financial Officer of Taghill Holdings Berhad (Formerly Known as Siab Holdings Berhad). He oversees financial planning, accounting, business planning, and human resources for Siab (M) Sdn Bhd and its subsidiaries. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Curtin University, Australia in 2001 and became a Member of CPA Australia in 2005 and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants in 2018.

He started his career as an Audit Assistant at Deloitte KassimChan in 2001. In 2005, he left Deloitte Kassimchan and ventured into the property industry by joining Gamuda Land (Botanic) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Gamuda Berhad (listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities), as a Business Development Executive. He has over 18 years of experience managing finance and accounting functions for property-related businesses.

He has held various finance and accounting positions at different companies, including Gamuda Land, Perspektif Masa, Kiarafield, S P Setia Project Management, Aeropod, and Gamuda Land (T12), before joining the Group in 2020.

CATHERINE LEE YENG LING

Head – Finance
Catherine Lee Yeng Ling joined Taghill Projects Sdn Bhd in year 2019, bringing with her nearly two decades of experience in accounting and financial management. As Head of Finance, she oversees Taghill’s financial reporting, cash flow management, and compliance functions, playing a pivotal role in guiding financial strategy and ensuring robust reporting standards. Her leadership has been instrumental in aligning Taghill’s financial practices with industry best practices, contributing to the company’s operational efficiency and financial resilience.

A graduate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom, Catherine is a member of both ACCA and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). Her background includes extensive experience in corporate reporting, financial planning, and regulatory compliance, which enables her to expertly navigate the financial challenges of a growing organization.

Prior to joining Taghill, Catherine served as an Accountant in both multinational and public listed companies, gaining diverse expertise across sectors including heavy machinery, retail, and services. Her experience includes roles at Multico - a multinational corporation equipment specialist; Tomei Consolidated Berhad - a well-known local public listed company on the main market of Bursa Malaysia; and Voir Group - specializing in the fashion retail industry. This broad exposure has made her an invaluable asset to Taghill’s management team as the company continues to expand and achieve its financial goals.

TAN HING HOO

Head – Contract
Tan Hing Hoo, Head of the Contract Department at Taghill Group, has been a pivotal member of the team since 2018. With a Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying from Nottingham Trent University, UK, he brings a wealth of experience in contract and cost management, specializing in complex construction and engineering contracts. His responsibilities include overseeing contract procurement, managing project costs, and advising on contract execution to ensure successful project outcomes.

Tan began his career in 1998 as a Quantity Surveyor at Sutomo & Associates before moving to work with several main contractors, including Domain Resources Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Malton Berhad), M+W Hightech Projects (M) Sdn Bhd, and Hiti Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd. Throughout these roles, he managed contract administration on prominent projects such as the Pavilion Damansara Heights mixed-development, Q-Cells Cyberjaya solar panel plant, and Western Digital Penang semiconductor plant.

With extensive expertise in Design & Build and EPCM (Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management) contracts, Tan is highly skilled in overseeing complex contractual requirements across various project types. His background makes him an invaluable asset to Taghill team as they pursue diverse and challenging projects in the construction sector.

KEVIN YAU KOK KENG

Head – Project

Kevin Yau Kok Keng is the Project Director of our Group Kevin Yau joined Siab (M) Sdn Bhd in mid of January 2024 as Project Director.

He is taking the leading roles in the overall project performance of all ongoing construction projects of the company. He obtained a Diploma in Building Technology from Tunku Abdul Rahman College in 1989. Subsequently, after working in the construction industry for several years, he went on to pursue his higher educations in Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh Scotland in year 1995 and graduated with a Master Degree in Construction Management in year 1996.

Kevin Yau has over 30 years leadership experiences with some established developers and main contractors in directing, managing and successfully delivery of multiple construction projects towards achieving timely completion, above budgeted profits, and high qualities end products.

He also well versed in rolling out strategies to drive highly effective project management, cost control as well as contracts management coupled with strong exposure in working with both local and international consultants and stakeholders. Recognized as a tactful and efficient professional with solid people management skills and capabilities.

Prior to joining the company, Kevin Yau has previously worked with Sunway Construction Berhad, Crest Builder Holding Berhad, Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad in Riyadh Saudi Arabia and CapitaLand in Bahrain.

He also worked as the Project Director cum Senior Vice President in Pacific Star Property Sdn Bhd from 2001 to 2007 in which he played the key leading roles in the timely completion of the high quality and luxury and multiple awards winning Puteri Cove Residences mixed development project with total GDV of RM1.8 billion, in Puteri Harbour, Nusajaya, Johor.
