As a leading energy company, embedding the climate transition in our strategy is key to delivering our purpose. We unequivocally support the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement and measures to progressively reduce global emissions, including the aim to limit the world’s temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. Currently, we are updating our emissions reduction targets to be consistent with a 1.5°C pathway. We aim to achieve netzero Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2026.
