WCME, Qatar – Concrete Weight Coating equipment for the new facility in Qatar, successfully designed, engineered and supplied by Turn Key Pipeline Services B.V. in The Netherlands, starts site commissioning activities in preparation for NFPS project execution. NOVEMBER 4 November Successful completion and safe load out of M75 Power Generation Module of ONGC KG=DWN 98/2 Cluster II FPSO Project. The 2,640 tons module was the heaviest module in the history of Wasco. 7 November Successful Delivery of Power Generation Module for the ONGC 98/2 Armada Sterling 5 FPSO Project. 12 November Secured Priority Berthing status with Kuantan Port for a period of 3 + 2 years. This arrangement ensures minimum waiting time for all incoming and outgoing shipments thereby reducing demurrage/ detention exposures to all our clients. 17 November Secured two (2) back-to-back projects from Australia, i.e. Barossa GEP Pipeline and Barossa Flowline (awarded 20 Feb 22). This puts Wasco in a good position to secure the Darwin Pipeline Duplication which is the next phase of the Barossa Development. Both projects will be executed in 2022. 22 November 3QFY2021 Results Announcement. 30 November Wasco Coatings UK Ltd., an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of WSC - Hartlepool plant - First order for the Abigail Project (£500k) was successfully delivered in November 2021. DECEMBER 1 December Launching of “Amphibious Hydraulic Excavator” by WDG of which operate effectively on soft terrain for water mitigation work. This well designed amphibious hydraulic undercarriage has ultra-low ground pressure and unparallel mobility to work on soft terrains and swamp areas. 18 December When the flood struck the area of Shah Alam and Klang in December 2021, the management and staff of Renewable Energy Division performed their social responsibilities in flood rescue and relieve effort. 20 December Signing of the PETRONAS 5 years Price Agreement (“PA”). This PA puts Wasco as the sole coater for all local projects until 31 December 2026. 22 December WCME, Qatar – First CWC PQT successfully completed for the NFPS project, conducted within 7 months from first breaking ground at the new site.
