Tropicana began our sustainability journey in 2017 with the identification of 18 material sustainability matters pertinent to the Group’s business operations and stakeholders. Our inaugural report also included the establishment of a sustainability governance structure to effectively manage Tropicana’s EES risks and opportunities across our business operations. As we continued to improve on our data disclosure in the subsequent financial years, the Group has made considerable progress in aligning with international and national guidelines that emphasise the integration of environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) principles into our operational practices. The latest milestone we achieved in FY2022 is the establishment of a Risk Management & Sustainability Committee and the completion of a Social Impact Assessment for our upcoming Tropicana Alam township*¹².
