Fair value information The carrying amounts of cash and cash equivalents, short term receivables and payables and short term borrowings reasonably approximate their fair values due to the relatively short term nature of these financial instruments. The fair values of other investments is disclosed in Note 10, which is based on their quoted closing market prices and the net asset value of the unit trust at their reporting date.
