Section 6 | Sustainability Statement 218 TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT Upskilling Employees At Serba Group, we aim to create a workplace where our employees will thrive and perform to the best of their abilities to deliver and sustain high performance. Our employees play an important role in achieving our operational, strategic and financial objectives. As such, we encourage our employees to develop their competencies and qualifications to help improve their job performance. For FPE2021, we recorded a total of 11,681 training hours from training 1,271 employees in Malaysia. This included various in-house and external training relating to occupational health and safety, technical and non-technical subjects including tax and accounting related topics and halal food training The total expenses to train employees was approximately RM1,021,892, equivalent to an average of RM804 per participant.
