Integrated Report 2021 201 In FPE2021, our Malaysian operation’s water consumption was 99,625m 3 . This covers our water consumption at Menara Serba Dinamik and our service centres in Malaysia. The increase in water consumption was due to new operational facilities such as Teluk Ramunia that was set up during the year. Nevertheless, we are still committed to ensure reduction in consumption by 5% every 10,000 man-hours. This is also our first year reporting our water consumption for our foreign operations. This data covers our Indonesia, Laos, Turkmenistan, Abu Dhabi, United Kingdom and Tanzania operations. In FPE2021, three (3) of foreign operations utilised 94,453m 3 . Although water is a renewable resource, its availability in a form that is drinkable and usable for domestic and industrial uses is limited. As the world continues to develop and population continues to grow, the demand for clean water is escalating. As such, we encourage water conservation and responsible usage. We educate our employees in reducing water wastage and streamline our approach in meeting internal environmental standards. We also incorporated rainwater harvesting into the design of our latest constructed facility, namely Bintulu Integrated Energy Hub (BIEH) which is certified with a Green Building Index (DA) from GBI Malaysia. Electricity is the main source of energy consumed at our offices, service and training centres. Nevertheless, we are still committed to ensure reduction in consumption by 5% every 10,000 man-hours. Meanwhile, in FPE2021, petrol and diesel consumption in Malaysia reduced by 5%, putting us on track with our commitment to reduce energy consumption. This is also the first year we are reporting on energy consumption by our foreign operations. SAFEGUARDING EMPLOYEES AND ENVIRONMENT ^ On 07 May 2021, the Group announced the change of financial year end for the Company and its subsidiaries from 31 December 2020 to 30 June 2021.
