Integrated Report 2021 195 SAFEGUARDING EMPLOYEES AND ENVIRONMENT When it comes to safety, we believe everyone is responsible and accountable. Therefore, we developed our internal framework to continuously improve our OSH, which is the second pillar of our Operational Safety and Health Policy. We believe that providing a safe and healthy working environment should remain as our utmost priority at all times. To achieve this goal, we provide our employees with the necessary knowledge and tools to that ensure safety is never compromised. In addition, we implement other policies related to OSH such as Stop Work Policy, Smoking Policy, and Drugs and Alcohol Policy with the purpose to maintain the health and safety in our workplace. Our efforts and care for our employees to perform their duties have resulted in an outstanding record of 51.2 million cumulative total man-hours completed with Zero Loss Time Injury FPE2021. WORK PLACE ENVIRONMENT Our Safety and Health Committee plays an important role in providing an optimal workplace in our company. This committee consists of members from various departments including senior management to provide updates and recommendations to the Health, Safety, Security & Environment ("HSSE") management and personnel at our service centres. Furthermore, we welcome and encourage participation from other departments and business units to discuss and improve on our OSH environment. On the Board level, Group CEO, always emphasises that OSH is one of the mandatory subjects in all board and management meetings this is to guarantee that it always the top priority and that everyone is liable and accountable for ensuring uncompromised safety. He is also a member of the HSSE Corporate Management team in Serba Group which is made up of members from all levels from top management to executive levels. This ensures that any issues that arise will always be on the radar of top management. No drugs and alcohols are permitted in work premises. We conduct random tests on employees or any personnel related to operations to ensure they are drug and alcohol free whilst they are at the workplace. WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT Drug & Alcohol Policy We give employees and relevant personnel the right to stop working if and when there is an imminent threat to health and safety. Stop Work Policy Smoking is strictly prohibited in work premises and only allowed at designated smoking areas. Smoking Policy
