Section 6 | Sustainability Statement 194 SAFEGUARDING EMPLOYEES AND ENVIRONMENT OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH Occupational safety and health (“OSH”) are an important aspect for every industrial sector, particularly for the oil and gas industry, where the risk for a major accident is ever-present. The combination of heavily powered equipment, flammable chemicals and gases, and processes that are operated under high pressure may lead to hazardous, and even deadly accidents. As such, we continuously strive to maintain the highest OSH standards for all our frontline operation employees, contractors, and personnel. Each worker at the worksite has a duty to work safely and must make safety a part of their every task. In 2020, we achieved zero reported incidents, accidents and fatalities. We have a Health, Safety & Environment ("HSE") scorecard system where we monitor our monthly and yearly work safety performance. We have been monitoring and recording our HSE scorecard since our establishment in 1993. We utilise this monitoring to oversee our performance and progress and to ensure that we improve over our previous achievements and targets. Besides that, we create an Annual Safety Plan to monitor our safety performance with a target set for all operations to achieve. In 2020, we received the local (OHS00241) and international (OSH00563) operations certifications under ISO 45001:2018. This certification is audited every year by SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd. to ensure our compliance with ISO standards. For the implementation of sound OSH practices, we comply with a recognised Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Standards. Our subsidiaries, Serba Dinamik Sdn. Bhd., Serba Dinamik International Limited, Serba Dinamik International Petroleum Services CO.W.L.L are ISO-certified companies adhering to quality, health, safety and environmental systems. In year 2020 we transitioned fromOHSAS 18001 to the new International Standard for Occupational Health & Safety namely ISO 45001:2018 after undergoing an extensive audited process.
