Section 5 | Management Discussion & Analysis 156 India Sri Lanka Uzbekistan Kazakhstan Turkmenistan FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE CENTRAL & SOUTH ASIA The third largest region that contribute to the total Group’s revenue is from Central & South Asia region. This was derived from our operations in Turkmenistan, India, Uzbekistan. In addition, the Group has also recognised revenue from Sri Lanka whereby the work is based on order basis. This region has registered revenue at 2.98% of the Group’s revenue for FPE2021. Revenue generated from Turkmenistan in FPE2021 was accounted at RM176.21 million which is generated from MRO activity. During the period, RM43.22 million revenue generated from ICT solutions and services from country of India. Additionally, the Group has been awarded with an ICT contract during the period to implement smart solutions for development of Smart City and Safe City in India. For Uzbekistan, which the revenue mainly derived from IRM activity amounted to RM16.01 million and contributed of 0.19% to the total Group’s revenue. Moreover, the Group has secured one contract recently in Nepal which will be new country in the region near future. This contract is related to EPCC segment where it will construct 57.3MW Myagdi Khola Hydropower at Gandaki Province, Nepal.
