The Board continuously ensures that UEM Edgenta’s Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption (“ABAC”) Guide is appropriately maintained and updated. As a yardstick in terms of ABAC, we are guided by the following legal & regulatory requirements that relates to the ABAC Guide: • The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (“MACC”) Act 2009; • The Guidelines on Adequate Procedures issued by the Prime Minister’s Department; • The Guideline for the Management of Integrity & Governance Unit issued by MACC; and • Directive of The Prime Minister No. 1 Series 1 issued in October 2018.
