SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT MATERIAL SUSTAINABILITY MATTERS Materialty Matters In FY2021, the Al-`Aqar conducted a comprehensive evaluation and reassessment of its material sustainability matters in order to accurately reflect the prioritisation of ESG risks and opportunities within its operations. This exercise was based on the newly formed Sustainability Framework and the then ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. As we now manage the endemic phase of COVID-19, we retained the material matters as they remain relevant and conform with Bursa Malaysia’s REIT-specific material matters.
