Ecoscience International Berhad ("EIB" or the "Company") - Shah Alam High Court Companies Winding Up Petition No. BA-28NCC-57-01/2024 served by Ecoscience Manufacturing & Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (the "Petitioner") on Goodgloves Industries Sdn. Bhd. (the "Respondent") ("Petition")

We refer to our announcements dated 22 December 2023, 2 February 2024, 14 March 2024 and 13 May 2024 in relation to the Statutory Demand and Petition. Unless otherwise defined, all definitions used throughout this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in our said earlier announcements.

The Board of the Company wishes to inform that the Petitioner had on 17 May 2024 filed and served the Affidavit in Reply and the Notice of Intention to Use Affidavit in response to the Respondent’s Affidavit opposing the Petition and the Striking Out Application. Copies of the Affidavit in Reply and the Notice of Intention to Use Affidavit have been served upon the Respondent’s solicitor in respect of the Petition.

The Company will make the necessary announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when there are further developments in relation thereof and/or upon receipt of any further directions by the Court.
