Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 7 March 2024 in relation to the application for an extension of time for the Company to implement the Proposed Special Issue and comply with the Bumiputera Equity Condition.

On behalf of the Board, Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Securities Commission Malaysia had, vide its letter dated 7 May 2024 (which was received on 15 May 2024), approved an extension of time of 6 months until 30 September 2024 for the Company to comply with the Bumiputera Equity Condition.
