We refer to our announcements dated 5 January 2024, 9 January 2024 and 8 February 2024 in respect of the above Suit. Unless otherwise defined, all definitions used throughout this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in our said earlier announcements.
The Board of the Company wishes to update that they have received notification from the Plaintiff’s solicitors today that the Defendant had on 26 February 2024 served the Statement of Defence & Counterclaim and Affidavit in Reply in respect of the Application. The Defendant has denied some of the Plaintiff's claims and counterclaimed against the Plaintiff for the following:
(a) The Plaintiff to pay the Defendant in the sum of RM397,660.99 as summarised below:

(b) Interest at the rate of 5% per annum on the judgement sum or such sums awarded by the Court from the date of Counterclaim to the date of realisation of the judgment;
(c) Costs; and
(d) Such further or other relief that the Court deems fit, just and proper in the circumstances be granted.
The Plaintiff is seeking the solicitor's advice and will reply to the Statement of Defence & Counterclaim accordingly.
The Company will make the necessary announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when there are further developments in relation thereof and/or upon receipt of any further directions by the Court.
