Our Performance Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG Emissions Press Metal adopts calculation methodologies that are based on the IAI Aluminium Sector GHG Protocol, an addendum to the WRI/ WBCSD GHG Protocol, the WRI/ WBCSD Calculation Tools for Direct Emissions from Stationary Combustion and Transport or Mobile Sources, and the WRI GHG Protocol Scope 2 Guidance. The global warming potential (“GWP”) emission factors for all GHGs are consistent and in line with the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report, 2014 (“AR5”) based on a 100-year time horizon. The calculation methodologies are aligned with the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas inventories. All GHG emissions are converted to CO2-eq based on the GWP emissions factors listed by the GHG Protocol and the IPCC AR5. Scope 3 GHG emissions calculation is based on the GHG Protocol Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Accounting and Reporting Standard and the Technical Guidance for Calculating Scope 3 Emissions (Version 1.0). We have adopted the spend-based method with the average-data method and distance-based method to represent a higher level of accuracy in the Scope 3 emissions reporting.
