MATERIAL CONTRACTS INVOLVING INTERESTS OF THE DIRECTORS OR MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS OF THE COMPANY There were no material contracts entered into by the Group involving the interest of the Directors and major shareholders of the Company, which were still subsisting as at the end of financial year or which were entered into since the end of the previous financial year. EMPLOYEES’ SHARE SCHEME (“ESS”) The Company’s ESS comprising an employees’ share option scheme and an employees’ share grant plan was approved by the shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting held on 9 February 2018. The ESS came into effect on 12 February 2018 and shall be in force for a period of five (5) years, ending 11 February 2023. The ESS may be extended for such period, at the sole and absolute discretion of the Board, provided always that such extension of the ESS shall not in aggregate exceed a duration of ten (10) years or such other period as may be prescribed by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad or any other authorities from the effective date of the ESS. As at 24 June 2021, no option or share grant has been awarded to any person pursuant to the ESS. ADDITIONAL COMPLIANCE INFORMATION AS AT 24 JUNE 2021
