Quarterly results briefing sessions are conducted for analysts and fund managers after lodgement of results to Bursa Securities. All press statements and quarterly financial statements are published on the Bank Islam corporate website. Bank Islam’s investor relations activities ensure regular, effective and fair communication with shareholders, analysts, fund managers and stakeholders. We have consistently maintained an open dialogue with relevant stakeholder groups such as regulatory agencies, employees, investors, consumers and the general public, nongovernmental associations and suppliers. Their views and concerns on Bank Islam’s business, its policies on governance, the environment and social responsibility are given due consideration in our decision-making process. The Board is committed to providing a fair, objective and meaningful assessment of the financial position and prospects of the Group in the quarterly financial results, annual financial statements, integrated annual report and all other reports to shareholders, investors, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders. The protection of shareholders’ and stakeholders’ interests, both in the short and long-term is central to the way the Board operates. This has been the primary governing principle behind the Board’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Its impact on all key stakeholders was always considered in Management’s decisions.
