TAN SRI DATO’ TAN CHEE SING Group Executive Vice Chairman Total Board Meetings Attended: 7/7 On 24 January 2019, Tan Sri Dato’ Tan Chee Sing was appointed as the Group Executive Vice Chairman of Tropicana. Tan Sri Dato’ Tan Chee Sing was the founder of Tropicana. He was previously appointed as Chairman and the Group Chief Executive Officer of Tropicana on 5 July 1995. On 7 January 2013, he relinquished his position as the Group Chief Executive Officer and was re-designated as the Group Executive Vice Chairman of Tropicana. He resigned as the Group Executive Vice Chairman and Director of Tropicana on 18 June 2015 and served as the advisor of Tropicana until he assumed his current position on 24 January 2019. Tan Sri Dato’ Tan is a businessman and entrepreneur having a wide spectrum of businesses with extensive experience in property development, resort management, restaurants and leisure through his investments in public and private limited corporations.
