(Cont’d) 4.8 During the financial year ended 31 December 2020, four (4) Board meetings were held. The summary of attendance at the Board meetings held in the financial year ended 31 December 2020 is as follows (Cont’d): - Directors' Training and Continuing Education Programme All Directors of the Company are encouraged to continuously attend relevant training programmes to enhance their knowledge in line with the ever-changing corporate laws, rules and regulations, especially in the areas of corporate governance and regulatory development, to enable them to discharge their responsibilities effectively. All the Directors have attended the Mandatory Accreditation Programme ("MAP") as required by Bursa Securities except for Dato’ Sri Ismail bin Ahmad which has been granted an Extension of Time from Bursa Securities up to 30 June 2021. In addition to the MAP prescribed by Bursa Securities, Board members are also encouraged to attend training programme conducted by highly competent professionals that are relevant to the Company's operations and businesses.
