Al-`Aqar Healthcare REIT 06 FINANCIAL STATEMENT 99 (ii) Diversification The Fund will seek to diversify its Shariah-compliant real estate portfolio by property and location type. The Fund will primarily be focused on investing in real estates which are primarily used for healthcare purposes and will continue to look for opportunities that will provide attractive returns. (iii) Leverage The Fund will be able to leverage on its financing to make the permitted investments. Leveraging on its financing will enable the returns to unitholders to increase. Neither at the end of the financial year, nor at any time during that year, did there subsist any arrangement to which the Manager of the Fund is a party, with the object or objects of enabling the Directors of the Manager to acquire benefits by means of the acquisition of units in or debentures of the Fund or any other body corporate.
