Pursuant to Paragraph 8.23(2)(e) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, we wish to announce the financial assistance provided by UEMS' wholly-owned subsidiary, UEM Land Berhad, which holds a moneylending license.

For the quarter ended 31 December 2018, UEM Land Berhad has not provided any new loan in relation to its moneylending activities and the outstanding balances are the same as at the previous quarter ended 30 September 2018. The details are set out in the attachment.
